Belladonna…She took hold of the talisman at her neck and the walls joggled. The men sent to reduce us to ashes fled as a ghastly green pooled out of the great stone on her staff and slithered toward them. A lilting and mournful sound came from the stone, as though the dead were singing. We were glad to be rid of our captors, yet newly uncertain about the hooded lady.Clearly she concealed these abilities from us… Let us hope she does not need to use them again.
