A Chalk Ink Mummy BOGO sign detailHalloween was (as you’ve noticed maybe) a great holiday for me. It was so easy to find a way to tweak an otherwise hum-drum sign and make it intriguing… in this case, a bit spooky. But I bet the customer was thinking a bit more about snickerdoodles! Consider contacting me if you want the same for your product… :)
Cinco De Mayo the First Chalk Ink Sign I have another of these. This actually didn’t come first but I like it most. I wanted the traditional señorita, but I ended up punching up the fonts with some interior filigree and making the avocado radioactive. But it kind of sells avocados, right? And to a much lesser extent, tortilla chips… #embellishment
Vertical End Aisle Grocery Chalk Ink SignThese were attached via velcro to the ends of the aisles so as to make them more versatile. I tend to enjoy high contrast and vivid colors to draw the eye, as well as much photo reference as I can come up with… I came up with most of the taglines, too!
A Flowery Halloween Chalk Ink sign detailPart of my routine as a chalk artist was to create/update the sign on a flower display. I enjoyed this segment because of the perplexed expression on the witch’s face (based on the creature’s behavior to the left), while casually summoning a demon with a flower in hand. As has been the case with most of my signage, I love a good theme, and Halloween especially. (Bonus points if you noticed the smitten Frankenstein’s monster in the background).
